Rock operas are cool and all, but Green Day’s going back to their roots now with short and to the point, in-your-face pop punk songs in case we don’t really have that much time to listen to Billie Joe Armstrong whine.
The band released the title track off their upcoming album, Revolution Radio. Armstrong has a bone to pick with 2016 — he’s ready for, “the dawn of the new airwaves for the anti-social media,” and is offering up power chords for the cause.
