Taylor Swift generously opened her wallet over the weekend to help the family of a fan who recently passed away.
The singer donated $5,000 to a GoFundMe page for 18-year-old Katie Beth Carter, who died in a car crash in Alabama according to People.

In an screenshot Carter’s sister Kimi posted to Instagram, the singer penned a note to the crowdfunding page created by family.
