‘Justice League’ is officially, well and truly DC’s lowest grossing movie
It’s over, guysJustice League has finally ended its domestic box office run and it’s now officially the lowest grossing film in the DC Extended Universe.
Director Zack Snyder’s multi-hero blockbuster starring Wonder Woman, Superman, Batman, Aquaman, Cyborg, and Flash, the antithesis to Marvel’s Avengers, made $229 million at the U.S. box office since opening in November 2017.

The film couldn’t top Man of Steel, next rung up, which made $291 million at the U.S. box office. DC’s top domestic grossing film to date is the unbeatable Wonder Woman, which hit $412 million — and notably, it came out only months before Justice League and probably should have harnessed more of a guaranteed flow-over audience than it did.
